CN Blue (Korean: 씨엔블루), stylized as CNBLUE, is a South Korean Boy band.



"CN is an abbreviation of ‘Code Name’ while BLUE is an abbreviation of the members’ individual images," said by one of the members.



‘Burning’ represents Lee Jong Hyun, ‘Lovely’ represents Kang Minhyuk, ‘Untouchable’ represents Lee Jung Shin, and ‘Emotion’ represents Jung Yong Hwa.

They were coined as the "2nd FT Island".
They are connected to the Korean band F.T Island, as they are under the same label, they have performed in F.T Island concerts.

Jung Yong Hwa (정용화) is a Korean singer and actor.
He is the leader (Jung took over the leadership of C.N.Blue from former leader Lee Jong Hyun), main vocalist and guitarist of the band CNBLUE.

Jung was born in Seoul, South Korea.
His family consists of his parents and a brother four years older than him.
He moved to Busan in 1991 and lived there through high school, where he first began composing music.
After taking his college entrance exam, he moved back to Seoul where he joined F&C Music and began training in bass technology at F&C Academy.

The song is a re-arranged version of the song originally sung by Jung and Girls' Generation member Seo Hyun on the TV-show We Got Married.
It was composed by Jung and inspired by their roles as a "married" couple on the show.

In early 2009, Jung landed his first acting role as Kang Shin-woo in the SBS drama You're Beautiful, which aired from October 7 to November 26, 2009.
As the series revolves around the life of a musical group, Yong Hwa played the role of the lead guitarist in the faux idol band A.N.Jell along with fellow co-stars Jang Geun-suk, Park Shin-hye and Lee Hongki of FT Island.

In 2010, Jonghyun landed his first acting role as Kim Seong Won in an omnibus movie Acoustic which was released on October 28, 2010.

Lee Jong Hyun acted alongside his fellow C.N. BLUE member, Kang Min Hyuk who played his brother Kim Hae Won in the second part of the movie called "Bakery Attack".

The movie revolves around the story of two brothers who love music but could not make ends meet with it.
The older brother decided to sell his guitar but his younger brother accidentally lost it.
They found the guitar in a bakery in Hongdae and learned new insights about music from the bakery owner.

In January, FNC Music unveiled new teaser pictures for CN Blue's debut in South Korea. Bluetory was released on January 14, 2010.



On the January 14, CN Blue debuted their first mini-album with lead single "I'm a Loner" (Korean: 외톨이야).

The songs "Love Revolution", "Y, Why...", "Now or Never" and Geureolgeomnida.. Ijeulgeomnida.. are Korean versions of the English songs.
